LCpl Thomas P Doumitt May 18, 2003 – October 31, 2025 Thomas Peter Doumitt, 22, of Oro Valley, Arizona, passed away on October 31, 2025, at Camp Pendleton, California. A beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend, Thomas will be remembered for his strength, fearlessness, sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty to those around him.
Born on May 18, 2003, in Santa Monica, California, Thomas was the cherished son of John and Denice Doumitt and the devoted brother of Laura Mull and Emily Doumitt. He grew up with an adventurous spirit, always seeking the next challenge—whether on the slopes snowboarding, mountain biking down rugged trails, or riding his stunt motorcycle. From an early age, he displayed both a love for nature and a drive to push beyond limits.
In September 2021, Thomas proudly joined the United States Marine Corps. He achieved the rank of Lance Corporal and served as a Squad Leader for Alpha Company “Raiders.” His fellow Marines recall his good humor, steady presence, and willingness to lend a hand, no matter the circumstance.
Thomas is survived by his parents, John and Denice Doumitt; his sisters, Laura Mull and Emily Doumitt; his brother-in-law, Kevin Mull; his niece, Audrey Mull; nephew, Preston Mull; and his grandmother, Carole Rickert. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James White, Donald and Suzanne Doumitt; and step-grandfather, Dennis Rickert.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 19, at 9:30am (MT), at Saint Mark Catholic Church in Oro Valley, Arizona (the service will be live-streamed at stmarkov.com/mass-streaming). Graveside services with full military honors will follow at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana, Arizona.
Thomas was a good son, a loyal friend, and a faithful Marine. He will be deeply missed.
