Obituary for Gloria Keymolent

Gloria Irma Gonzalez Keymolent, beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished
grandmother, and loving sister, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 26,
2026, in Vail, Arizona, at the age of 73. She was surrounded by love until her final
breath, departing this world as gently as she had always moved through it — with grace,
warmth, and quiet strength.

Born on March 30, 1953, in Colonia Obregón, Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, México,
to Alejandro Gonzalez and Domitila Marin, Gloria grew up with a deep sense of family,
faith, and purpose. She completed her nursing degree in México and dedicated herself to
caring for others — a calling that would define every chapter of her life.

Above all else, Gloria was a dedicated homemaker and the heart of her family.
For the majority of her life, her greatest work was the love she poured into her home —
raising her sons, nurturing her grandchildren, and keeping her family close. She was the
kind of woman whose presence made a house feel like a home, and whose hands were
always busy doing something for someone she loved.

She also built a distinguished career as a Quality Inspector at Hughes Aircraft
Company and later at a bomb assembly facility in California, where her precision,
reliability, and strong work ethic earned the respect of all who worked alongside her.
Prior to that, she had served as a nurse in México, bringing comfort and healing to those
in her care — a reflection of the compassionate heart she carried throughout her life.

On April 14, 1987, Gloria married the love of her life, Gonzalo Salazar Keymolent,
and together they built a home filled with laughter, warmth, and unwavering devotion.
Their partnership was one of deep love and mutual respect. Gonzalo preceded her in
death, and Gloria carried his memory with her every single day.

"Mis preciosos. Mis niños."
To her grandchildren, Gloria was the center of the universe. She called them her
preciosos, her niños — and she meant it with every fiber of her being. She spoiled them
with gifts and showered them with affection. She cooked for them, prayed for them, and
called to check on them. Her kitchen was a place of love, and her table was always set for
family. The aroma of her cooking and the warmth of her presence are memories her
family will carry forever.

Gloria cherished time spent with her two sons and their families, with her
husband Gonzalo, and with her brothers and sisters in México. She was never happier
than when surrounded by the people she loved. Shopping for her grandchildren brought
her joy. Watching them grow brought her pride. Holding them close was everything.

Her brothers and sisters: and extended family in Colonia Obregón, Chihuahua, México.
