John J. Kubat

I was born in Minnesota and completed high school before moving to Arizona, where I meet my wife Shantell.  We have been married for 32 wonderful years and have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. 

I have worked for Pima county for the past 25 years and I've been a member of St. Mark since 2012. I have loved every minute of it. I am member of the Knights of Columbus for St. Mark the Evangelist and have been a LifeTeen core member, which was one of the many instruments that prompted me into the diaconate.  

I was was ordained to the Permanent Deaconate on May 30th, 2026.  With my wife at my side,  I hope to serve this parish for many years to come.
