Mengda J. Bilinski

Mengda Jiang Bilinski became Catholic at St. Mark the Evangelist Church in April 2026 and is grateful to continue growing in faith through the parish community. She supports the parish’s music ministry through weekly liturgies and special celebrations throughout the year. In addition to directing choral music, Mengda is passionate about strengthening parish participation in music and hopes to develop a children’s choir program at St. Mark in the future.

Originally from Dalian, Liaoning, China, Mengda earned her Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the China Conservatory of Music and her Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting from the University of Arizona. She is also active as a conductor and educator in the Tucson community and currently serves on the national board of the National Collegiate Choral Organization.
